Bill's Dilemma
After watching two
other members of the Ursa tribe (Julian
Robertson and George Soros) leave the
Financial Isles, Bill has to wonder if
yet another bull storm will ravage their
settlement. Though there have been some
losses over the last couple of years, the
hardy Ursa crew have managed to stick
around. In fact, when the NASDAQ fell in
April, it looked as if the long awaited
bear had finally shown up. However,
incantations by the Manzo* tribe during
the monthly PPI/CPI festivals seem to
have caused the native spirits to drive
up tech. Looks like the Ursa folks will
have to wait a while longer until the
traditional deity (Loki) eventually
smiles upon them.
There was some good
news, however, when Henry Blodget
irritated everyone
on the island to the point where he was
thrown, bound and tied, into the bubbling
cauldron of the island's only active
volcano.
Bill is not giving up.
He's one of the most stubborn fellows
there! Don't count him out.
